Festive Blend

Regular price £13.00
Taxes included.

Expect: Chocolate Covered Almonds & Fruit Cake

Perfect for the coffee you keep on the counter all season, whether it’s one cup for you or another round for whoever’s still around.

Best suited for however you like to brew it. Black, with milk, espresso, french press or filter.

Breakfast turns into lunch. People stay longer than expected. Somehow, the kettle goes on again. Festive Blend is made for those moments.

This year's blend brings together coffees from Brazil, Guatemala and Burundi, giving you rich dried fruit, creamy chocolate and gentle winter spice

Brew it black and you'll find fruit cake, stewed plum and warming spice. Add milk and it softens into creamy chocolate, roasted almonds and sweet dried fruit.

It's rich enough to feel like a seasonal treat, yet balanced enough to keep coming back to throughout November and December.

"You know how it goes at this time of the year. Someone pops round for a quick visit, ends up staying for hours, and before you know it, the kettle’s going on again. That’s exactly the kind of moment we had in mind for this year’s Festive Blend.

If you like your coffee with milk, think creamy chocolate, roasted almonds and dried fruit. Prefer it black? You’ll find more of that rich, sticky fruitiness, with notes of Christmas pudding and a little winter spice.

How Does The Coffee Perform In The Cup?

The aroma is full of dried fruit, roasted almonds and fruit cake.

Brewed black, expect stewed stone fruit, raisin, roasted nuts and gentle winter spice, with a subtle boozy red wine note appearing as it cools. Add milk and the cup becomes creamier and more chocolatey, bringing out notes of dried fruit, milk chocolate and candied nuts.

Brazil brings the chocolate sweetness and rounded body. Guatemala delivers the dried fruit and gentle winter spice that make the blend feel unmistakably festive, while Burundi lifts everything with brightness and a pop of complexity. Together, they create a coffee that's rich enough to feel like a seasonal treat without ever becoming too much.

Meet the producers

Brazil, Montanari

Marcelo Montanari's coffee has been a cornerstone of our offer list for over a decade, and it's easy to see why. Its chocolate sweetness, roasted nuts and rounded body provide the comforting foundation that Festive Blend is built upon, creating a coffee that feels familiar from the very first sip.

Beyond the cup, Marcelo continues to lead the way in sustainable farming, combining solar energy, biodiversity and thoughtful land management to prove that exceptional coffee and genuine environmental care can go hand in hand.

Guatemala, Finca La Bolsa

We've worked with the Vides family since 2016, making La Bolsa one of our longest and most cherished producer relationships. Their coffee brings the dried fruit, fruit cake and gentle winter spice that have become synonymous with Festive Blend, adding the richness and character that make it feel unmistakably seasonal.

La Bolsa is also a place where education, healthcare and environmental care sit alongside coffee production, creating long-term opportunities for both the people who work there and the wider community.

Burundi, Ryamukona

The washed and natural coffees from Ryamukona bring the brightness that keeps Festive Blend feeling lively from the first sip to the last. Juicy red fruit, sweetness and complexity lift the richer components, creating a blend you'll happily come back to cup after cup.

Working with Raw Material and a network of smallholder producers, these coffees help create better market access, healthcare provision and long-term investment in coffee-growing communities, ensuring the future of Burundi's incredible coffee continues to grow.

Packaging

Are your coffee bags compostable?

Our 250g coffee bags are made using compostable materials designed to break down in a well-managed home compost setup.

Our 1kg bags are currently recyclable LDPE4 plastic while we continue testing larger compostable alternatives durable enough for wholesale and larger-format coffee storage.

What if I don’t have a compost bin?

You’re definitely not alone. You can return your used bags to either our Roastery or Coffee Shop and we’ll make sure they’re properly processed through our waste partners. We know there’s currently no perfect packaging solution, but we’re committed to continually improving the systems and materials we use.

Can the bags be re-used?

Definitely. The zip-lock seals make them useful for storing everything from coffee and grains to snacks, cables or the random drawer bits everyone seems to accumulate somehow.
