Festive Blend + 12oz Fellow Move Mug Bundle

After 2022's boozy little number and last year's iteration bringing the spiced fruit, we wanted to deliver something a little different. Something that wouldn't taste out of place in Mr Wonka's factory. A blend that is rich and decadent as usual, using components that bring big chocolate notes, hints of marzipan and a little dried fruit.

Brazil Montanari is the perfect base to this year’s blend introducing bags of milk chocolate flavour and a serious amount of body to anchor and balance the resulting cup. We have worked with Marcelo Montanari since 2014, prizing his coffee for its incredible balance and distinct 'snickers-like' flavour profile! Sited on the plains of Minas Gerais, this farm is pioneering a carbon neutral approach to coffee growing.

Next we have added a washed Colombia from new relationship with producers of the 'La Colmena' coffee growing community in Huila. A blend of coffees that has been created specifically for us at North Star - made up of lower scoring lots grown by younger members of La Colmena. This coffee has been crucial in adding depth by bringing complexity in the form of a jammy, stone-fruit character.

Finally, we have turned to the wonderful Vides family’s Finca La Bolsa from whom we have sourced the most delicious coffee since 2016. It is this year’s anaerobic natural processed lot that finishes the blend and ties everything together. This component brings the festivity in a big way with its inherently bold character that offers a big hit of sticky dried fruit! When combined with the other components, we get a mixture of flavours that are reminscent of your favourite box of festive chocolates. A huge hit of chocolate with a back drop of fruit, nuts and caramels to please the palate.

It took us a lot of playing around with the percentages of these coffees and we ended up going with the below option to create a well-balanced and smooth drinking coffee with just the right amount of rich character for the ultimate decadent treat to enjoy amongst the festivities.

50% Brazil Montanari Natural
30% Colombia La Colmena Washed
20% Guatemala Finca La Bolsa Anaerobic Natural

Best suited through metal filter methods such as Espresso, French Press, Stove Top and AeroPress (when used with a metal disc filter). Can be enjoyed both with and without milk.

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email to confirm it is being processed and then another one to let you know when it has been dispatched.

If you place your order before 12pm, we'll dispatch it the same working day! All orders are shipped with DPD next working day delivery as standard. Fully tracked delivery, with a one hour delivery window and real time delivery updates.

Operating times are 9am-5pm Mon-Friday. Orders placed after 12pm on Friday will not be processed until 9am Monday morning.

Local pickups take place from the Roastery on Tong Road. Please note our shutter doors will be down for security and temperature reasons but we are always in Monday-Friday between 9 and 5pm – just ring the doorbell on arrival
